Australia's first certified opt-in carbon neutral cleaning service
Consolidated is the first Australian Cleaning Company to offer an opt in carbon neutral cleaning service certified by Climate Active.
In partnership with Climate Active, Consolidated is committed to proactively improving and reducing our emissions and carbon footprint whilst making a positive contribution to the planet, as part of our overall ESG strategy. Our clients can select to 'opt in', whereby we will track and aim to minimise all carbon emissions generated through our cleaning services on their property.
As part of our Carbon Neutral Cleaning Service, Consolidated has selected the Nyaliga Fire Project as our offset project. The Nyaliga Fire Project is an indigenous owned and managed program that aims to prevent destructive fires and therefore reduce greenhouse emissions as well as protect wildlife and cultural sites. This project aligns with our organisation goals of protecting environment as well as respecting the traditional landowners – the Aboriginal community.

Education is vital for all stakeholders
We place a great emphasis on educating users how to identify and dispose of their waste correctly. Our colour coded communication system makes it easy for users to play a pivotal role in the correct handling of waste.
Once collected and sorted, waste is filtered into 27 different streams for appropriate recycling, minimising that which will go to landfill. Then, each category of waste is barcoded and weighed, with detailed data gathered before being collected by contractors.
Data collected forms the basis of our reports, available to key stakeholders 24/7 online. These identify the collection points, tenancies, streams and waste contaminations by kind and date to empower important reforms and education programs throughout your property.
Waste Collection
Our team collects waste from designated bin locations around the building. Bins, liners and information posters are colour coded to assist users correctly sort their refuse.
Weighing Station
Waste is tracked by floor, tenant and time, to identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement. Sorted in 27 waste streams, each bag is barcoded and weighed, and data logged.
